Gates SB Clamps were designed for a superior clamping on coolant hose. An alternative use for these SB Clamps is to clean up the look when using Heat Sleeve with cut ends. In this instance Gates Heat Sleeve has been used. When applying to a hose for heat protection, you are left with a not so clean look.
